This past week, I had the opportunity to tour The Anaheim Hotel alongside my travel partners — and after sharing that moment with my community, so many of you asked to learn more about this property first.

So here it is.

This is my firsthand The Anaheim Hotel Review 2026, based on both my recent hotel tour experience and my personal stay.

If you’re researching hotel options near Disneyland Resort — whether you’re planning a family vacation, a couples getaway, or simply exploring Hotels on Harbor Boulevard near Disney — this is one property that deserves a closer look.

I spend a lot of time inside the travel and hospitality space. Between touring hotels, working directly with properties, and helping travelers book Anaheim stays every week through Angie’s Magical Style, I get a behind-the-scenes view of what really matters: walkability, comfort after long park days, thoughtful amenities, and how a hotel actually shows up for guests.

This is a closer look at The Anaheim Hotel — from its walkable location across from Disneyland to the way the property is designed, how the rooms actually function after a long park day, what’s available on-site, and how it all comes together when you’re really staying here.

I’m sharing what stood out to me, what worked well for us, and the kinds of details I know you usually ask about when you’re deciding where to stay in Anaheim — especially for 2026 trips.

If this hotel has been on your radar, here’s what I want you to know.

Location Overview: Walkable Access to Disneyland Resort

One of the biggest things people ask me about when booking Anaheim stays is walkability — especially if Disneyland days are part of the plan.

The Anaheim Hotel is located directly across the street from the Disneyland Resort on Harbor Boulevard, with an estimated walking time of about 8 minutes to the park entrance.

It’s also close to:

  • Anaheim GardenWalk (about a 9-minute walk)
  • Anaheim Convention Center (about an 11-minute walk)

What that means in real life: you don’t have to rely on shuttles, rideshares, or complicated transportation plans. You can walk back for mid-day breaks, drop off souvenirs, or take a quiet moment before heading back out.

That flexibility alone makes a big difference for families.

Hotel Style & Property Vibe

The Anaheim Hotel leans fully into a 1960s mid-century modern aesthetic — it’s very intentional, and it really does give a Palm Springs-inspired feel.

The Anaheim Hotel - Outdoor landscaping and fountains

The property spans nine acres of landscaped gardens, which is something you don’t often find this close to Disneyland.

You’ll notice:

  • Open-air walkways
  • Multiple outdoor lounge areas
  • Ground-floor rooms with patios
  • Second-floor rooms with balconies and bistro-style furniture

There’s also a dedicated outdoor recreation space called Games on the Green, where guests can play oversized chesscornhole, and Connect Four.

If you like the idea of being close to everything but still having space to breathe, this part of the hotel is a big plus.

The Anaheim Hotel - Can see Guardians of the Galaxy ride from the hotel

Amenities That Matter (Especially for Families)

These are the amenities I think are actually useful — especially if you’re traveling with kids or planning multiple park days:

  • Olympic-size heated pool (heated year-round)
  • One hot tub
  • Cabanas available to reserve
  • 24-hour gym
  • Meeting/event spaces (helpful for conferences or hosted gatherings)
  • Small business center
  • Laundry facilities (credit card operated)
  • Harbor Marketplace gift shop (drinks, snacks, souvenirs, travel necessities)
  • Ice machines and soda vending machines across the property
  • Electric vehicle parking spots

Topgolf Swing Suite & On-Site Recreation

The Anaheim Hotel also has an indoor golf range experience called the Topgolf Swing Suite, described as a state-of-the-art interactive sports simulator.

Games include:

  • Golf
  • Soccer
  • Zombie dodgeball

Up to 6 players can play at once, and you can book an individual room or set it up as a private/group event.

It’s a fun option for an evening when you want something different without leaving the property.

Is This a More Affordable Value Hotel Option for Families?

Yes — and I want to explain that in a way that feels realistic.

Pricing at The Anaheim Hotel depends on your room type and your dates (especially when events are happening nearby). But when you consider the location across from Disneyland, the space of the property, and the on-site amenities, this hotel is often a more affordable value hotel option for families who want to stay close without paying a premium just for being nearby.

One thing I recommend if you’re even considering it for 2026: booking earlier usually gives you the best chance at lower rates and better room availability — especially during peak seasons.

My Personal Stay Experience (December 2025)

I stayed here with my husband for the first time in December 2025 during the Christmas holiday season.

The positives for us:

  • Beds were very comfortable
  • Room felt spacious
  • Staff was polite
  • It served exactly what we needed for that trip

A couple things we weren’t as fond of:

  • The amount of light coming out of the bathroom when it was turned on (there wasn’t a door to block it)
  • Water pressure felt low during our visit
  • Bathroom spacing wasn’t as roomy as I personally prefer

Overall, it was a solid stay — and I’d rather you know those small details upfront than be surprised by them later.

2026 Booking Tips + Current Perks

Rates here can shift based on seasons, weekends, and events happening in Anaheim. That’s why booking earlier tends to help guests save the most while still keeping that close proximity to Disneyland.

When you book with me and my partners at Get Away Today, guests may receive exclusive perks like:

  • Lower parking and hotel fees (example: around $30 per night parking, payable at checkout)
  • Resort fee (example: around $8)
  • Help requesting connecting rooms (upon request / based on availability)

Calm deadline note (for planning purposes)

If you’re booking around a known busy season (spring break, summer, Halloween season, holiday season, or convention weeks), I recommend planning earlier — not for urgency, but because availability and pricing tends to change faster during those windows.
